1. Who benefits from the race
profits?
For many years the Deepings Raft Race committee
have been providing funds for a number of different
individuals and organisations seeking financial support.
Many of these are listed in the 'Money Raised So Far'
section of this website. See also 'Testimonials'.

2. How do you raise money?
The sums raised each year are a culmination
of many different events and initiatives. Our main fund
raising drive is the Annual Deepings Raft Race where
we aim to raise money through directly from the race
and proceeds from the two day fun day on the riverside
meadow which runs in parallel to the main Raft Race
event.

3. How can I help to raise
money?
You can help raise money for our nominated
charities simply by entering a team in the race and
getting your friends or families to sponsor you. There
are many other 'fringe' events which you can actively
participate in and , where again, you can be sponsored.
And of course, by coming along and enjoying yourself
at the riverside meadow site which features great 'live'
music, fun fair, refreshments and Raft Race bar.
