As some of the problems from last year have still not been resolved, e.g access to the site, the decision has been taken that the event will not take place in 2007.
This “Gap Year” will give the Organising Committee the opportunity to get the new infrastructure in place. It will also give them the chance to investigate new ideas to bring to the event.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last 10 years in making the Raft Race Weekend possible, and this decision will also give them a gap year from being asked by us for their money!!
