Deepings Raft Race 2009

It's been away for two long years - but now The Raft Race is coming home to Deeping. This year the two main events - The Raft Race Dance and Raft Race Sunday will be held on the 1st and 9th August respectively.
Raft Race Dance - Saturday 1st August at the Deepings Leisure Centre - featuring The Brays and Mark Owen Disco
The Raft Race - Sunday 9th August - At the heart of our community from Bridge Street in Deeping St James to the Centre of Market Deeping, the biggest family day out of the year will deliver fun and action throughout the Villages.
This year the events will be raising money for Sue Ryder Care to help at their local centre at Thorpe Hall in Peterborough.
Get Involved - Build a Raft - Get Sponsored and Race Down The River.
Can't Build a Raft - Then Join the Biggest Fancy Dress Party that the Deepings has ever seen. This year we want the spectators to join in and help us as we try to set a Guinness World Record for the Biggest Fancy Dress Street Party.
